Let's Hit Pause

I think it's really important to take a minute to hit pause and take care of yourself, especially during the week. I love taking a bubble bath during the work week, either in the morning or evening, depending on my work schedule. Here's a little guide on a very simple mid-week pamper mesh...

Ingredients:

Epsom Salt / Himalayan Salt / Both!

Essential Oils of your choice; My fave at the minute

Bubble Bath/Bar: My fave from Lush

Bath Bomb: For added luxury, I love the range of bath bombs at Lush

Set the Tone:

Light some candles; one of my favourites

Pick up your favourite or current read/put on your favourite show or something new your watching: Netflix

And now all that's left is to get in and enjoy! I wash myself in the bath before I get out but you can do this with whichever products you're using or loving at the minute. But hopefully this little guide has given you a nudge to take a little bath and help yourself unwind and relax in the midst of a busy week. This jacket is one my sister gifted to me of my birthday a couple of years ago from the Ivy Park rage at Topshop. I love that I don't own anything of the sort and the fact that it is so light but also long line makes it a firm favourite. Sometimes you don't really want a jacket but just need an extra half layer, yaknow?

Coffee is a great pick-me-up not just for when you're feeling rather sluggish and sleepy, but also for your skin. Here's a self-care day I did to give my whole self a big pick-me-up.

Morning Glow

I had a good make-up day and the sun was shining gloriously so obviously I had to take evidence of the moment. My makeup has been more on the glow-ey side lately thanks to this Sleek product. I mix the Barekissed Illuminator in with my foundation and skip the powder (I don't really need it as my makeup stays well and I'm on the drier side of life) and it gives me a really subtle but noticeable glow. I stick to the cooler colour (shade: Monaco) as cool tones work better for me but there is a more golden version I would recommend if you're looking for something to help you shine a little brighter.

Leather Weather (Almost)

On the days it’s been a little bit warmer here in London, or where I’m not out for too long and manage to catch a bit of sun I’ve been sticking to my faux leather jacket. Safe to say I’m excited for some sunnier days.
