Colder weather and darker days means intense flashback on the makeup. (If you know the struggles you'll know my makeup won't appear this different in person but alas, flash is a necessity at this time of year when you try and blog almost on a daily basis so, what can you do?)

These trousers are handmade by a friend of mine who not only makes the most beautiful handmade pieces but is also a major babe. Check out her clothing line Tiar Johnston Designs here and her Instagram here.

Think A Little Pink

With the weather being as cold as it is, I thought it would be nice to share a semi casual outfit that wasn't all about how many layers I'm wearing. This cute lace bodysuit is from Topshop, and I actually have the black one as well which I got last year during the summer, and while they were having their sale at the end of last year they had a few of these up so I picked one up.

This outfit is great for a date night or a night out; I love wearing a nice bodysuit with a comfy pair of jeans if I need to dress up a little but still want to be comfortable and still looks put together well.

How do you guys like dressing bodysuits? I love to know!

Outfit details are down below as usual.

Checkmate

Checked shirts are a great tool in the summer months to cover up when the air gets a little cooler, and when it gets warmer, it's perfect around your waist as an accessory. This old favourite is one I picked up in a charity store a couple of years ago and is still a strong favourite. Other outfit details are below.

A Glimpse of the Future

Last Friday was BBC's Children In Need Day and the theme for our costumes at school for sixth formers were '10 Years From Now'. My dreams of becoming a designer saw me dress up a little fancy. The jewellery I chose to wear as the statement piece for my outfit were bought while on holiday in Bangladesh last year, and I've teamed it with my print scarf from Whitechapel Market.

The jacket and shoes are from Primark and are pieces you've all seen on here before, but they're pieces which are comfortable to wear and dress any outfit up a little. The cold weather saw me layer a few tops together to keep myself warm, but are all items which you'd have similar items of lying around in your wardrobes. I am actually wearing a turtle neck underneath the top I have on, which also has gold zips along the side, which can't be seen in any of the photos above.

My Week In Pictures

1. This week has been super exhausting. It's been very full on and mid week salt-baths to ache sore muscles and get you through the week are needed. These bath salts are great at getting the job done. And of course, bath petals are a must.

2. A squirrel came super close to me on one of my morning waiting for the train to work and obviously I had to stand as still as possible so I could see how close it would actually come. The little guy came pretty close before turning around and going up the steps. It was a nice start to the morning all the same.

3. As I write this, I'm planning my bubble bath for tonight and I picked up a couple of samples from Lush to try out while in the bath tonight. Rosy Cheeks I've tried before and love but BB Seaweed is a new one to me. It has rose in it so of course I was going to try it out. I'm thinking of doing a mix between the two and seeing how they help my skin.

4. While leaving the shops and waiting for our train my sister and I came across this gorgeous flower stand. Red roses are my favourite and I can never pass up the chance to take pictures of flowers because who doesn't want to go through their camera roll and see it full of flowers? It's the best way to live.

5. It's been a while since I've done a collage so I went through my camera roll and picked out a couple of images which I loved and stood out to me to experiment with. I also added a quote which I read recently which I fell in love with. Anything to remind a girl how powerful she is. x
