Over My Dead Body

This was an outfit I wore when the weather quite similar to as it is currently in London. It was worn a while back but this jumper is great for keeping me warm with it's fleecy interior, meaning I know I'll London and will probably stay that way with slight sunshine here and there, but what can you do?

The text on the jumper reads "I've failed over and over again in my life So you can have my dead body but not my OBEDIENCE". It's still available at Urban Outfitters online and is currently reduced to if snatch it up while you still can!

Hope you've all enjoying your summer so far!

Until Next Time

School has come to an end for many of us and to mark the end, our school took part in a Leavers Barbecue to which I wore the outfit shown above. The trousers are handmade and something I've been waiting to wear out for a while, which I finally had the perfect opportunity to do last week. The weather was amazing too (which did mean I got pretty warm in my turtle neck although it's not a very thick layer) which made the evening all the more pleasant.

I had been wearing those heels for about two days by this point as well but they are one of my most comfortable pair, meaning it wasn't much of a struggle at all (although I've chipped one of the heels on them now, meaning I won't be getting any more wear out of those). Transitioning slightly into a more summery wardrobe and my white sleevless coat is making that a more comfortable transition; I'm finding more wears for it and getting more comfortable with leaving my trust bomber jacket at home on more than one occasion.

White Out

Since the weather seems to be getting better here in London, I thought it was about time I made sure there was some white in my wardrobe in preparation (Topshop seems to be my best friend right now), which I thought I would put to the test today since it was warmer throughout the day. It feels good to finally be able to leave the house without a jacket or a coat on for the purpose of keeping warm (kind of).

The weather in London has been pretty good over the last week or so and seems to be just as good this week (so far anyway) so what better time to whip out that white outfit that I bought way back when but have never found the right time to wear? The crop top I purchased from H&M about a year ago I think and just have not touched since. Although I do love the way it looks, it was slightly uncomfortable to wear; the turtle neck was a little too snug on my neck since I do have to wear small sizes for anything to fit me well which was a bit of an annoyance throughout the day. Although it wasn't anything unbearable to wear, I am hoping it will get slightly more comfortable after a few washes.

As I'm not used to wearing so much white and had to wear black shoes for the day (wearing my Nike Air Max 90's) I decided on wearing a black shirt around my waist to break up the colour a bit more.

How are you all enjoying the recent weather? I hope you all enjoyed the post and thank you for reading; items worn will be listed below.

I finally managed to get my hands on some Calvin's after they were restocked in my size (and just as well since they're sold out again already! There is a link below which you can come back and recheck in case you want to get your hands on them from Urban Outfitters, which is where I got them from, or the CK website, which is also included.) and they are by far the comfiest things ever. They arrived in the mail just in time for the gorgeous weather we had last week which has thankfully carried onto this week, and I thought what better a time to test them out than while the sun was shining?

The crop top I'm wearing over the bra is quite short as it's from the Petite range at Topshop, so wearing it over the top was perfect as you could still see the elastic with the 'Calvin Klein' print. I wore the combination with my trusty bomber jacket and harem pants which I can never get enough of. This is probably a look I'll be seen a fair few times in this summer.

Items featured in this post are linked below, depending on whether or not they are still available online. If not, I've provided a link to a similar or alternative item.

Thank you for reading and enjoy your weekend everyone!

On Sunday, I went to see the gorgeous Tiar, who's down in London from Leeds for the month. Since it was really warm outside, I decided to wear the Mesh Top handmade by herself with a really cute bra I'd gotten from Topshop earlier in the week. I haven't had many opportunities to wear this top since I got it but jumped at the chance when I saw some sunshine outside.

It's been really nice having some sun out towards the end of the Easter break and everyone seems to a lot happier not that it's getting brighter out, although there are many still fighting off a cold from the seasonal change.

I teamed the top combination with mu trusty Harem pants and the new Black/White Huaraches I got my hands on the last week. The Triple White were what I really wanted to get my hands on but they sold out within minutes (surprise, surprise). Anyhow, I seem to be enjoying these pretty well so it's all good for now.

How's everyone's Easter break been? Hope you're all well and thank you for reading!

The First of April saw Alicja and I travel to Edinburgh for the day for University business, which was so lovely (even though the weather was bum). It was nice to just walk around for a bit in familiar areas which we had visited before and see what was different or now. Although the weather has improves some, I knew I should probably layer up so I teamed a turtle neck under a stripped top Alicja's mum gave me as a little gift and threw on my black duster and bomber jacket on top. One thing I really can't for are layering for Spring/Summer. But in the meantime, these layers kept me as warm as I could be in the Edinburgh rain.

It's officially the first day back of the second half of term and the pressure can already be felt. There isn't long left unit exam season for some of us and we still have a lot of preparing to do in the meantime. This outfit was worn on an outing last week to a handful of galleries as part of research for my new Art Exam Paper, of which the stimulus is 'Relationships'. It's a great topic and there's so much that can be done, so I'm looking forward to this one.
